Residents of Kesrouan should hold MPs accountable
Lebanese Forces Leader Samir Geagea said that the elections are “about holding the current MPs and candidates accountable and questioning them about their promises.”
Speaking before a delegation of Kesrouan residents in Maarab on Tuesday, Geagea asked all voters to review the political platform on which they based their voting and see if that platform was implemented.
He was clearly referring to the Free Patriotic Movement and its leader, MP Michel Aoun.
He asked if Syria had ever wanted a real and strong state in Lebanon, and if the state can be strengthened by increasing ties with Syria and its Lebanese allies, or by attacking Maronite Patriarch Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir.
