Parliament Session Postponed, No Further Sessions Before Polls
A parliament meeting was postponed due to lack of quorum and no further sessions will be held before the June 7 elections, MP Serge Tor Sarkissian announced on Thursday.
Speaker Nabih Berri postponed the session without setting a new date. He later headed a meeting of parliament bureau”s committee.
Tor Sarkissian said after the meeting that there will be no sessions before the legislative elections unless there is an urgent issue that requires a parliamentary session.
