General Aoun forgave Generals and Syrian regime
The National Bloc party released a statement Thursday saying that “Free Patriotic Movement leader MP Michel Aoun forgave the four generals who were responsible for all the oppression during the Syrian occupation of Lebanon and he forgave the Syrian regime which he had previously accused of all the terrorist actions in Lebanon, as well as Hezbollah, who supported the Iranian and Syrian regimes instead of the Lebanese state. But Aoun cannot forgive any Christian who disagrees with him.”
The statement said that the May 7 memory cannot be easily forgotten, and it will always remind the Lebanese of the threat that Hezbollah’s military presence poses.
The statement said that Hezbollah’s allies, especially Michel Aoun, should be know that the weapons that were used in May 7 against the Lebanese state can at any time turn against those allies.
The National Bloc also said that if the Syrian authorities do not extradite to Lebanon the suspects of the attacks on the army last month in Bekaa then this proves that Syria values its relation with political parties in Lebanon more than its normal relation with the Lebanese state.
