Post-election government should not resemble current government
Justice Minister Ibrahim Najjar said on Wednesday that the Doha agreement is temporary and “contradicts with the constitution.”
Najjar added that a government should be formed after the election that does not resemble the current government.
After visiting Beirut”s Greek Orthodox Bishop Elias Audi, Najjar said that it is crucial to finalize administrative appointments for the Constitutional Council before the upcoming parliamentary elections.
“This is the only council which reviews appeals and preserves the stability of the elections,” said Najjar.
