Israel Will Not Be Able to Separate the Lebanese
Public Works Minister Ghazi Aridi on Friday called for unity among the Lebanese, saying Israel will not be able to destroy any "bridge" that brings the people closer.
"Today we prove that the determination of the Lebanese is stronger than the will of the Israeli terror. Israel will not be able to break or destroy any bridge among the Lebanese," Aridi said during the inauguration of al-Dallafa bridge.
The bridge links Hasbaya, Marjayoun and the Western Bekaa to Jezzine.
Aridi also stressed that the Lebanese "will remain steadfast and face the Israeli terror."
He said the public works ministry is capable of implementing major projects if it continues on the right path of providing services to all Lebanese and without segregation.
