March 14 victory will secure cabinet minus obstructing third
Future Movement MP Mustafa Allouch said that if the March 14 alliance wins the elections, it will form a national unity cabinet, but will not grant the opposition an obstructing third vote.
In an interview with Al-Balad newspaper on Sunday, he added that this phase will be considered the real beginning of President Michel Sleiman’s term because “recent events proved that obstructionism has touched the president and cabinet.”
Allouch also said that the March 14 alliance will support the program of the consensual president, even if it seizes the majority of parliamentary seats.
Allouch noted Syria’s power and the Syrian-Iranian axis will return to Lebanon only if the March 8 coalition wins the elections.
He concluded that his movement leader, MP Saad Hariri, will most likely be the next prime minister if March 14 wins the elections.
