Full implementation of electoral law prevents meddling
Head of the Lebanese Forces Executive Council Samir Geagea said that on Election Day in June 7, Lebanese voters will “see the country they have always known.”
After meeting the Dignity list’s candidates in the West Bekaa and Rachaya, he urged residents to vote for the March 14 list in that area, because the battle is about the definition of “which Lebanon we want, not which candidates.”
He called for a full implementation of the electoral law, especially such features as casting votes behind curtains and using envelops signed only by heads of polling stations to prevent meddling in the electoral process.
Geagea accused Syrian Intelligence services of conducting surveys of voters in West Bekaa and Rachaya, and pressuring them to vote for the opposition.
