Majority Not Awaiting Biden to Win Over Indecisive People
MP Saad Hariri said after meeting President Michel Suleiman on Saturday that the presidency should not be attacked, adding that the majority is not awaiting U.S. Vice-President Biden”s statement to win over indecisive people.
Hariri also described Biden”s visit to Beirut on Friday as historic and said there is no U.S. deal at Lebanon”s expense.
He told reporters at Baabda palace that he discussed with Suleiman the issue of administrative appointments.
On the upcoming Israeli maneuvers, Hariri said: "The Lebanese government is making contacts on the issue of the Israeli exercises that will be held at the end of May."
He stressed that the government is making every effort to face a possible Israeli attack.
About the June 7 elections, the Mustaqbal movement leader said: "The March 14 forces will remain unshaken."
