Jumblat Warns Against Game of Nations Hariri Affirms Cedar Revolution Principles
Democratic Gathering leader MP Walid Jumblat warned against media leaks, rumors and news that precede the rulings by the Special Tribunal for Lebanon.
In a joint electoral festival on Sunday with al-Mustaqbal Movement leader MP Saad Hariri in Mukhtara, Jumblat said that the truth behind the murder of Progressive Socialist Party leader Kamal Jumblat in 1977 [Walid”s father] and that of Rafik Hariri in 2005 both call for justice. However, he warned against "the game of nations that could God forbid derail justice and use it for things that we don”t believe in."
Jumblat and Hariri together launched the Shouf electoral list composed of Marwan Hamadeh, George Adwan, Mohammed Hajjar, Nehmeeh Tohmeh, Elie Aoun, Dory Chanoun and Alaa Eddine Tirro.
Hariri affirmed the strong relationship with Jumblat and affirmed his holding to the principles of the cedar revolution saying: "our road is long we hold true to to our cause and Arab identity. Walid and I shall remain together as long as the sky is blue."
