Principles and unity re-affirmed
Democratic Gathering bloc member Akram Shehayeb said that the “March 14 meeting in Bristol is of high importance. From Bristol the first spark of the Cedar Revolution was launched, an important turn in the modern Lebanese history.”
Shehayeb told Future News TV before the meeting that “we remind you that the Free Patriotic Movement withdrew from the March 14 alliance when they refused to call the assassination of journalist Samir Kassir a political motivated crime.”
The statement, which we will issue at the end of the meeting, will call for working to preserve all principles of the March 14 alliance and affirm its unity.”
