Rifi to Security Forces: Your Success in Securing Elections is Statement of Appreciation
Internal Security Forces Director General Ashraf Rifi told all forces under his command that their success in securing Sunday”s parliamentary election constitutes a statement of appreciation for their hard work and sacrifice.
On the 148th anniversary for founding the Internal Security Forces in Lebanon, General Rifi issued a general statement praising his forces” hard work and past sacrifices in carrying out their duties in serving the country.
"We have made great achievements in the past under extraordinary circumstances in fighting crime and terrorism," Rifi said.
He paid tribute to Internal Security forces and the Lebanese armed forces for working together on uncovering the Israeli spy cells and in their collaboration against terror groups.
"Live up to people”s hope and the trust given to you, be courageous, patient, persevere and most of all be neutral…you are Lebanon”s foundation and the basis for its progress," Rifi said.
