Justice Ministry in Full Readiness
Justice Minister Ibrahim Najjar said his ministry is in full readiness for the 2009 parliamentary elections on Sunday.
In an interview with the daily As-Safir on Saturday, Najjar said his ministry has accomplished all that is required and is in a state of full readiness for the elections.
Najjar expressed his relief that international monitors are in Lebanon from various parts of the world to make sure that the election process are free where the right to differ is respected.
“ I have listened to many [election] monitors who truly expressed their appreciation with the vitality of this election,” Najjar said.
Interior Minister Ziad Baroud also expressed his ministry’s full readiness for the elections expressing his trust in the Lebanese army and internal security forces in doing their utmost in securing the country.
