Release of Samer Hanna’s Killer a Critical Mistake
Lebanese Forces bloc MP Antoine Zahra told Voice of Lebanon radio station on Wednesday that the release of the suspect in Pilot Samer Hanna murder was a critical mistake that should not be tolerated.
He also saw it as a negative message to the Lebanese Army demanding a slowdown in fulfilling its duties. The release didn’t serve the project of the State and endeavors aiming at consecrating Lebanon’s sovereignty Zahra said.
Zahra also stated that March 14 alliance would not grant the opposition any guarantees that would allow possession of arms beyond the State authority against abandoning the obstructing third. He pointed out that the Lebanese Forces would question any candidate for the Speaker post so to decide over it.
