New Speaker Likely to be Elected between June 25 – July 2
Eldest MP Abdel Latif el-Zein has resumed work at his office Monday and is expected to hold a press conference at midday.
The daily An Nahar said Zein is likely to call Parliament to convene on Thursday.
A parliamentary source, however, told Al-Liwaa newspaper, that if Parliament was not called for a meeting on Thursday, June 25 then the session would not take place later than July 2.
