Swine Flu Cases in Lebanon on the Rise
The health ministry said Monday that it diagnosed five new cases of swine flu in Lebanon, increasing the number of infections discovered through the RT-PCR technology to 25.
The ministry said most people with the flu were treated while the others were being given the proper medication.
The statement added that no deaths were recorded in Lebanon from swine flu.
RT-PCR technology is a new, easy-to-perform method for detecting both seasonal influenza A virus and the emerging H1N1 swine flu.
