STL Media Bureau Confirms Memorandum Set
The office of Special Tribunal for Lebanon General Prosecutor Daniel Bellemare announced on Sunday that the STL has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Lebanese government relating to cooperation between the two bodies.
Bellemare’s office released a statement announcing Bellemare and Justice Minister Ibrahim Najjar, on behalf of the Lebanese government, signed the memorandum on June 5.
The statement said the document is a tool for both parties to better understand the methods that will be used to implement the legal aspects of UN Resolution 1757 and the STL’s statutes.
