Swine Flu Cases Rise to 43
The health ministry reported four new cases of swine flu in Lebanon on Tuesday, bringing the country”s total to 43.
Four people were diagnosed with the virus recently, the ministry said in a statement, adding that all of those who had been infected made full recoveries and most of them didn”t have the need to be hospitalized.
The statement said the new cases haven”t shown any complications.
The World Health Organization has declared swine flu a pandemic. As of Friday, it said 59,814 cases had been reported worldwide with 263 deaths, mostly in Mexico and the United States.
