Political and internal security enhances economy, encourage return of expatriates
Maronite Patriarch Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir said at a press conference at his summer residence in Diman on Tuesday that political and internal security would enhance Lebanon’s economy and encourage expatriates to return to Lebanon.
Sfeir noted that events, such as the Beiteddine and Byblos festivals, are not being held in areas such as Bcharre, Ehden, al-Donniyeh, Akkar and Tannourine, which he said would spread the economic benefits to other regions.
