Italian Foreign Affairs Committee team to visit Beirut
The Italian Embassy in Beirut announced on Tuesday the visit to Lebanon on July 8 and 9 of a Delegation of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Italian Chamber of Deputies, headed by its President, Stefano Stefani, and which also includes. Margherita Boniver, Leoluca Orlando and Parliamentary Counselor, Mario De Napoli.
On Wednesday, the Delegation will pay a visit to the Italian Contingent operating as part of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon. On Thursday, the Italian Delegation will hold talks with President Michel Sleiman, Speaker Nabih Berri, serving Prime Minister Fouad Siniora and Prime Minister-designate, Saad Hariri. The Delegation will also meet with the President of the Foreign Affairs committee within the Lebanese Parliament, MP Abdel Latif El Zein.
