Lebanese Forces prepared to meet with Marada and FPM
In an interview with Al-Sharq newspaper, Lebanese Forces MP George Adwan said on Thursday that his party is “ready to meet with the Marada Movement as well as the Free Patriotic Movement.”
Adwan said that a meeting between the LF and the FPM is possible and could take place at any time, “since there are no obstacles that stand in the way of such a meeting.”
Al-Liwaa newspaper in turn quoted the MP as saying that the deliberations on the new cabinet formation have just begun, since Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri wants to include all parties in the ongoing talks and to form a national-unity cabinet that ensures the president gets the swaying vote, which would “tip the balance” for or against any proposal within the government.
