March 8 is Protected by the State and the Law
At a dinner in Batroun for the Lebanese Forces, LF MP Antoine Zahra said on Tuesday that the winner in the 2009 parliamentary elections, a reference to the March 14 alliance, will govern the country without submitting to any internal or external pressures.
Zahra said that the “winners” want to reassure the March 8 coalition that it is protected by the state and the law, rather than by the coalition’s weapons and regional relations, a reference to Syria and Iran.
The LF MP addressed the opposition, saying that if “your weapons and regional relations were truly a source of protection, the people would have voted for you.”
