Cabinet Formation Likely Not Before September
MP Nabil Nicolas said Friday it could take a long time before PM-designate Saad Hariri completes his Cabinet line-up.
"A deal on Cabinet formation could take as long as September to be reached," Nicolas told al-Jaqdidi television in an interview Friday.
"Lebanon is based on consensus; and no one (political) camp can eliminate the other," he stressed.
Nicolas believed that the government will be formed "through international and not Lebanese consensus."
He accused Maronite Patriarch Nasrallah Sfeir of seeking to maintain the split between the majority and the Opposition.
