Sfeir for Stronger Inter-Maronite Ties, Calls for Quick Cabinet Formation
Maronite Patriarch Nasrallah Sfeir on Saturday called for consolidating inter-Maronite ties and hoped the next government would be formed soon.
His visitors quoted Sfeir as saying that relations among Maronites should be strengthened and Lebanese expatriates should consolidate their ties with their nation.
The patriarch also said that the cabinet should be formed in the near future because it”s been already one month since Premier-designate Saad Hariri was tasked with forming the government.
However, Sfeir is optimistic about the general situation in the country, according to MP Khodr Habib, who visited the Patriarch in Diman.
