4 Israeli Tanks Move South amidst UNIFIL, Lebanese Army Alert
Four Israeli-made Merkava tanks moved out of their position in the highlands of Arqoub region toward a recently set up observation post in the hills of Kfarshouba.
The move coincided with Israeli aerial action over Lebanese airspace with six warplanes hovering above the area before turning left above Hasbaya and Western Bekaa as well as Iqlim al-Tuffah and Marjayoun.
The Lebanese army, meanwhile, announced its readiness on that front and said it has placed its troops on alert to face up any Israeli action. U.N. peacekeepers also were in a state of alert.
