March 14 Forces Plan Broad Meeting
The majority March 14 Forces was preparing for a broad meeting, Ad-Diyar newspaper said Monday.
It said the March 14 coalition would extend an invitation to Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Jumblat, adding that the alliance would deal with the Druze leader depending on his response to the invitation.
March 14 General Secretariat Coordinator Fares Soaid stressed, however, that the relationship with Jumblat was not severed.
A Lebanese Forces source, meanwhile, told the daily Al-Akhbar that the serious developments warrant an urgent meeting of March 14 forces to "curb attempts to undermine serious Syrian efforts aimed to shake things up at the majority."
