Geagea files complaint against Wahhab over ‘slander’
Lebanese Forces (LF) leader Samir Geagea has filed a complaint with the Court of Cassation against former Minister Wi’am Wahhab for making false statements about the group.
A statement by the LF issued Friday said that Geagea accused Wahhab of slander and falsifying facts on Hizbullah’s television station Al-Manar. Geagea’s lawsuit took Wahhab to task for claiming that “terrorist cells” were operating within the LF, and claimed it wasn’t the first time that the former minister had made unacceptable statements about the political situation in the country.
