No More Swine Flu Testing at Airport
Caretaker Health Minister Mohammed Jawad Khlaife announced Friday that the government will halt swine flue testing at Beirut airport and along the Lebanon border.
"Swine flu tests at both the border and the airport are no longer of value because the epidemic has spread throughout the world," Khalife said in an interview with al-Jadid TV late Friday.
He said the ministry was now focusing on the treatment of patients, stressing that vaccines and medication are available in hospitals.
