Spanish UNIFIL peacekeeper dies of heart attack
A Spanish peacekeeper serving as part of United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) has died from a heart attack while playing basketball, according to reports in the Spanish media.
According to media reports, efforts to try and reanimate him lasted for 40 minutes. Antonio Godia Pi from Lérida, 21, joined the Spanish military in September 2007.
