Sfeir calls on strengthening cooperation between ISF and LAF
Maronite Patriarch Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir met on Tuesday at Diman with former MP Talal Moraabi who said, afterwards, that the Patriarch was keen on the Lebanese unity, the security and the stability in the country. Moraabi added that all parties should be aware that Lebanon needed all of its citizens and demanded concessions from all parties in order to meet the national interests.
The Patriarch also addressed with Interior Security Forces Director General Ashraf Rifi the security situation in the country and the efforts put by the ISF, in cooperation with the Lebanese Army and all the security agencies, in order to establish the order and stability in the country, namely amid of a prosperous summer and touristic season. Sfeir then called on saving that cooperation in order to confirm trust in a powerful Lebanese State.
