Adwan supports Sleiman’s proposal to resume national dialogue
During an interview with MTV on Wednesday, Lebanese Forces bloc MP George Adwan voiced support for President Michel Sleiman’s proposal to resume the national dialogue, calling for “forming a technocrat government, which places the Lebanese’s social and economic concerns as a top priority.”
Adwan also said that the country “cannot remain without a cabinet any longer,” adding that he does not object “increasing the number national dialogue participants if doing so furthers in the nation’s interests.”
The dialogue sessions were halted prior to the June 7 parliamentary elections and were not resumed.
