Jumblat Urges Leaders to Be Prudent and Make Concessions
Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Jumblat on Wednesday advised all political factions to be "prudent" and urged them to make concessions in order to solve the cabinet crisis.
"There is no problem in giving a few more days (to cabinet formation) in order to reach an adequate solution," Jumblat said following talks with Head of the Higher Islamic Shiite Council Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan.
Everyone should make concessions, he said, and stressed on the importance of the Syrian-Saudi agreement. "There is a need for an inter-Arab agreement pending dialogue with Iran."
"We reject and condemn any U.S. effort to create an Arab-Israeli alliance against Iran," he stressed.
