Fattoush Sacks Marouni from Zahle Bloc
Head of Zahle”s "In the Heart" parliamentary bloc Nicolas Fattoush said he decided to dismiss MP Elie Marouni from membership in the bloc.
In a statement issued by Fattoush Friday, he said his decision came following Marouni”s stances that were taken in the post-election period.
Fattoush accused Marouni of taking positions in contradiction with the bloc”s electoral statement.
"His latest statements have misled the public opinion and served the interests of others in depriving Zahle from proper Cabinet representation," Fattoush said.
