Despite Many Concessions, Minority”s Stance Remained the Same From Day 1
MP Saad Hariri stressed Friday on the necessity of forming a National Unity Cabinet, taking in consideration the difficult "political, regional and economic situation" Lebanon is facing nowadays.
During al-Makased”s Iftar, Hariri slammed the opposition parties that conceive "the formation of a Cabinet in compliance to their conditions," whereas the collaboration on terms means that "the President and the PM-designate aught to apply these conditions."
The Future Movement”s leader went on criticizing "the minority”s stance that remained the same from day one" despite the concessions that were offered to them. Given that, he underlined his commitment "to defend the Constitution and the Presidency first of all."
At the end of his speech, Hariri called for returning to the dialogue in order to provide President Suleiman with the opportunity "of undertaking new Parliamentary consultations and to re-designate a Cabinet PM."
