LF Nominates Hariri as PM-designate
After meeting with President Michel Sleiman in Baabda on Tuesday, Lebanese Forces bloc MP Strida Geagea said her bloc nominated Future Movement leader MP Saad Hariri as prime minister-designate, adding Hariri is committed to the principles of the March 14 alliance and the Cedar Revolution.
Geagea also said that the LF nominated Hariri to confirm the existence of a majority and a minority in the country, stressing that the PM-designate and the president are responsible for the cabinet formation.
