Sfeir prays for blessings in Lebanon
Maronite Patriarch Nasrallah Butros Sfeir led mass in Saint Maroun Church in Rome, Italy on Sunday, on the occasion of the opening of the church’s pastoral year.
At the end of his pastoral duty the patriarch wished – before the Lebanese community in Rome – that God would cast His grace upon Lebanon and let the Lebanese live altogether in cooperation, peace and understanding.
Sfeir received before the mass a delegation from the Future Movement and some of the Muslim Lebanese community in Rome, who gave him their best wishes for the church’s ceremony.
