Suspect wanted for helping Roumieh prisoners flee
Military Examining Magistrate Fadi Sawwan issued an arrest warrant against a man suspected of helping a Roumieh prisoner escape, security sources said on Thursday.
Issam Daher was accused of helping prisoner Hussein Naef al-Mawli escape from Roumieh prison by transferring him to a hospital and freeing him from there, the sources added. Sawwan is to question more witnesses in the case who were in contact with the escaped prisoner.
Sawwan also issued a warrant against prisoner Hisham Wehbe who had earlier escaped along with another inmate from Nawfal Hospital in Beirut, the sources said.
