Fears of More Security Incidents to Settle Political Issues
Security sources have expressed fears over the return of a wave of assassinations in case the Lebanese government was not formed next week.
The sources told An Nahar newspaper that the knife attack in Ain el-Rummaneh on Tuesday night and other incidents in different Lebanese regions indicate that local and regional powers want to push the process of cabinet formation forward.
Other sources also fear an Israeli attempt to carry out assassinations in Lebanon.
