Hizbullah urges state to strengthen grip on suburbs
A delegation from the Hizbullah’s Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc visited Interior Minister Ziyad Baroud on Thursday to discuss the security situation in Beirut’s southern suburbs.
Hizbullah MP Ali Ammar said the state should extend its control over the southern suburbs and and reinforce its presence there. Ammar also stressed the need for Dahiyeh residents’ cooperation with the security forces.
