Court of Appeal Charges LBCI
The Lebanese Forces announced on Monday that the Court of Appeal in Beirut rejected a lawsuit submitted by LBCI television, which demanded the replacement of the investigative judge who is handling the legal claim of the party against the station.
The verdict obliges LBCI to pay a 400,000 Lebanese lira (LL) fine and a 300,000 LL symbolic compensation for the judge and to pay the Lebanese Forces a fine of 750,000 LL for the delay it has caused in the case.
