March 14 Wins Student Elections at St. Joseph University
March 14-affiliated students won elections at St. Joseph University on Tuesday, beating out rival candidates from the Opposition March 8 coalition.
They claimed the majority of seats in the student bodies in 15 faculties in a landslide victory over March 8-affiliated classmates with links to Free Patriotic Movement leader Michel Aoun.
March 14 got 139 delegates at the 15 colleges in return for 96 delegates for March 8 in 4 faculties, and 28 independent delegates at two other schools.
