Current Ministerial Statement Must be Basis for Addressing Complicated Issues
In an interview with the Voice of Lebanon radio station on Friday, Lebanon First bloc MP Michel Pharaon said that the current Ministerial Statement “should be the basis for addressing complicated issues,” voicing hope that the new statement would be “the result of reaching an agreement on contentious matters while continuing dialogue.”
Pharaon added that it is difficult to separate the foreign aspects of the cabinet formation from the domestic ones, especially because “an opposition party,” a possible reference to Hezbollah, prioritizes foreign interests rather than national ones.
