Danish Embassy rattled by false bomb alarm
The Danish Embassy in Lebanon received a false alarm Monday after an explosive device was thought to be inside a postal package.
The embassy received a package through the post service DHL at 9:45 a.m. and the explosive detection machines used by embassy security indicated that it contained explosives. The package was carefully removed from the embassy and examined by a military expert from the Internal Security Forces, but the examination revealed the box contained only a cell phone.
