Syrian President Bashar Assad”s political and media advisor Buthaina Shaaban welcomed any possible visit by Lebanese Premier Saad Hariri to Damascus.
Shaaban also told Kuwait”s al-Dar newspaper that her country was pleased over the formation of the national unity cabinet in Lebanon.
About Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Jumblat”s possible visit to Syria, Shaaban said: "The Syrian president and leadership decide on this issue."
"Syria always welcomes the best of relations with Lebanon," she added.
