Compromising for Lebanon Not a Compromise, But Sacrifice
President Michel Suleiman on Saturday urged not to "compromise Lebanon", adding that "compromising for the sake of the country is not a compromise but rather a sacrifice."
Suleiman was quoted by his visitors as saying "it is important not to compromise the country because the sacrifices for the sake of the country are neither concessions nor retreats, and this is being noticed currently by all parties."
On the other hand, Suleiman on Saturday discussed the security situation in the country with Interior Minister Ziad Baroud. He was also informed by the Head of the General Directorate of General Security about the affairs of the institute and its needs.
