I Still Accuse Syria of Involvement in my Father”s Murder
MP Nayla Tueni said during her father”s 4th assassination anniversary on Saturday that she accuses Syria of involvement in her father”s murder pending the announcement of the results of the international investigation.
Speaking during a ceremony to hand over the Gebran Tueni prize on the assassination anniversary of An Nahar”s general manager four years ago, the MP said arms outside the control of the state would lead to internal and external wars.
"There should be no arms other than the weapons of the state," Tueni said.
"We will remain united Muslims and Christians. The Cedar revolution is an ongoing movement," she told the crowd at the “Forum de Beyrouth.”
Meanwhile, a mass was also held on Saturday on the 2nd assassination anniversary of Brig. Gen. Francois al-Hajj at Saint Elie church in Antelias.
