Hariri Meets Ban, Calls on World Powers to Take Action on Climate Change
Prime Minister Saad Hariri met Wednesday U.N. chief Ban ki-Moon on the sidelines of the 2009 U.N. summit on Climate Change in Copenhagen.
Hariri has urged world powers to take action on climate change, describing the Copenhagen summit as "very important" for Lebanon and the region.
In an interview with LBC TV late Tuesday, Hariri said Lebanon "is ready to cooperate with them (world leaders) in all areas."
Hariri will address the summit later Wednesday.
