Any Progress in U.S.-Syrian Ties Won”t Take Place at Lebanon”s Expense
Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea said any progress in relations between the U.S. and Syria will not take place at Lebanon”s expense.
In an interview to be published Friday by al-Watan al-Arabi, Geagea said: "wrong who believes that March 14 (forces) has perished."
"Since the parliamentary elections all the way to student and union election, March 14 has made progress at the popular level," Geagea stressed.
"At the political level, however, March 14 continues to exist; and each and every leader has a role to fulfill," he said, adding that PM Saad Hariri”s role "is to be the prime minister of the Lebanon government."
