Border Demarcation Starting from the North Not Encouraging Sign by Syria
Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea described as "difficult" a decision by Prime Minister Saad Hariri to visit Syria.
"Everyone has triumphed over oneself, especially Hariri, who decided to make this visit and pass over his personal pain," Geagea said in an interview with radio Algeria.
He said the ball now was in Syria”s court "given that the Lebanese side has shown significant positivity."
Geagea believed it was time for Syria to tackle pending issues particularly that of missing Lebanese in Syrian jails, Palestinian arms outside Lebanon refugee camps and border demarcation.
He said Syria”s approval to start demarcation from the northern border and not from Shabaa Farms was not an "encouraging sign."
