Assad-Hariri Agree to Start Border Demarcation from North to South
President Bashar Assad and Prime Minister Saad Hariri have agreed to start border demarcation from the north all the way to the Bekaa then the south, well-informed sources told pan-Arab daily Al-Hayat in remarks published Tuesday.
The sources said the significance of the meeting between Assad and Hariri is that the two leaders agreed to establish "direct connect" with each other and not through intermediaries as was the case between senior Lebanese and Syrian officials.
