Syria Will Show Openness toward All Lebanese Leaders
Prime Minister Saad Hariri on Thursday said, after meeting with Druze Spiritual Leader Sheikh Naim Hassan, that a new relation and a new chapter have been started with Syria.
Hariri stressed on the importance of honesty and common interests between Lebanon and Syria.
When asked on whether he expected more meetings to be held between officials from both sides, Hariri said: "Hopefully, this matter concerns both sides, and there will be openness from Syrian leadership toward everyone."
The premier stressed: "Lebanon is the country of co-existence … and this is the atmosphere that we would like to see prevailing."
